Find out what's new at the Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) 2020

2020 marks the 36th year of the Summer Institute for the Gifted providing summer academic programs for gifted, talented, and creative youth. Our mission to support gifted and talented education remains unwavering.

We are introducing several exciting changes in 2020 that emphasize the fantastic features and benefits of SIG!

Our new tagline mirrors our commitment to enriching young minds:

Explore Your Summer. Expand Your Mind.

-New SIG 2020 tagline

Our curriculum is now called the SIG STEAM+ Curriculum, describing how our courses take a multidisciplinary approach and weave the in-demand fields of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) with humanities and fitness. The new SIG logo incorporates several fun colors to illustrate each facet of STEAM.

Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) new 2020 logo represents the STEAM focused curriculum

Our programs have been renamed to reflect our commitment to nurturing future leaders and lifelong learners. The Innovators Program (formerly SIG Residential) offers students ages 9-17 Residential, Day, and Day + Evenings & Saturdays options. The Investigators Program (formerly SIG Day) offers Full Day and Half Day (a.m. or p.m.) program options to students ages 5-12.
