SIG Instructor Spotlight: Meet Ms. Livinski who returns to SIG at UMiami 2020

At the Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG), courses are led by qualified professional teachers. SIG instructors have expertise in their disciplines and represent an array of professional backgrounds.

2020 will be Ms. Livinski’s 4th summer at the SIG at UMiami Innovators program!

Victoria Livinski is a mathematics and statistics instructor at Miami Dade College. Originally from the Republic of Moldova, Victoria speaks both Russian and Romanian fluently.

SIG instructors like Ms. Livinski encourage gifted students to explore their interests.
One of our SIG instructors, Ms. Livinski, encourages students to use Russian Nesting Dolls to explore the composition of functions in Mathematics of Finance.

Victoria has a Master’s degree in Social Science from the London School of Economics and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. In addition to teaching mathematics, Victoria enjoys botany, photography, and guava pastelitos.
