The application for SIG 2020 is now live! As SIG prepares for its 36th season, we are excited to announce many new developments, including an Early Bird Discount when you apply by 12/31/19. Here is what’s new at SIG:

New Look

Our new logo uses the colors associated with the STEAM fields to represent our focus on exploring science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. The SIG curriculum is now aptly titled STEAM+ to illustrate how we integrate all facets of STEAM with the humanities and fitness.

SIG has a new tagline too! Our new tagline is “Explore your summer. Expand your mind.” This tagline expresses our commitment to stimulating curiosity through fun and academically enriching 3-week summer programs.

New Program Names

Our programs have been renamed to reflect our commitment to nurturing future leaders and lifelong learners. The Innovators Program (formerly SIG Residential) offers students ages 9-17 Residential, Day, and Day + Evenings & Saturdays options (age requirements vary by campus). The Investigators Program (formerly SIG Day) offers Full Day and Half Day (a.m. or p.m.) program options to students ages 5-12 (age requirements vary by campus).

New Courses

With 40 new courses joining the SIG roster, 2020 is gearing up to be the best summer yet! Joining classic SIG courses like “Creative Math Problem Solving Strategies” and “DNA Diagnostics” are new courses including:
