New at SIG 2020: Concepts of Coding and Engineering! Do you have what it takes to be a super coder or an innovative engineer? In this course, students will learn how to use problem solving techniques, creativity, and logical reasoning to understand computer science concepts unplugged.
They will dive into coding concepts such as algorithms using graph paper games and functions of loops through physical activities. They will sequence codes through robotic tasks and challenge themselves to use conditional statements using a deck of cards.
Students will also use design principles to engineer their very own Wiggle Bot and create innovative uses for it. This course will engage students in computational thinking as they tinker their way to becoming a future coder and engineer!
